Intense ruby red in colour with aromas of plum, blackberry and vanilla which are accented by cedar and toasted oak. Ripe raspberry, plum and fig on the attack followed by subtle oak flavours of vanilla and cocoa. The mouthfeel is very clean and pure. The bright fruit flavours evolve into a long finish of creamy oak, black cherry and espresso. This is a beautiful wine and a classic expression of the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley terroir. An excellent wine to pair with filet mignon or rich soft cheeses.
